161. The arbitration award must be made within 3 months after the matter is taken under advisement and is binding on the bodies. It must be made in writing, be signed by the arbitrator, and include reasons. It must state its date and the place where it was made. The award is deemed to have been made on that date and at that place.
The time limit set in the first paragraph may, before its expiry, be extended by one month at the discretion of the arbitrator.
